OUR TEAM

Lisburn Dog Groomers is dedicated to providing you with not only the highest quality but also a competitively priced Dog Grooming Service. In order to continue to provide only the Highest Quality Service we can, all our Staff are trained in house by Business Owner & Head Stylist Emma Moulds, who has been in the Industry for 10+ Years.

Emma has decided this is the only way to maintain the good reputation Lisburn Dog Groomers has gained over the years and all staff undergo 12 weeks of intensive training under Emma's Guidance and watchful eye which is 3-5 times longer than the training provided by Grooming Schools across the country.

All the Staff are thoroughly vetted before training commences to ensure suitability for the role , they learn everything they need to know from Emma in order to qualify to a Level 3 Standard and groom your pets to Emma's personal high standard.

There are 2 recognized level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma Qualifications - City & Guilds and OCN. All Staff will be fully trained to level 3 standard and within a year of training ; sit their exams/complete assignments so they are all qualified.
Emma is the Business Owner / Director at Lisburn Dog Groomers Ltd. She started in the industry at 16 years old gaining work experience for her Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and from here started a Saturday job at another local Dog Groomers.
It was here that she decided she enjoyed the creativity Dog Grooming had to offer and continued working in the groomers for a couple of years before enrolling onto a Professional Grooming Course at Dashin Hounds in Dundonald.
In 2010 Emma opened her own Salon , starting at the back of her house in a portacabin the business was originally named 'Pawsitively Clean' but this proved hard to pronounce as it was a bit of a tongue twister so the business was renamed Lisburn Dog Groomers a few years later to keep things simple.
Emma sat her Level City & Guilds exams in 2013 and completed the practical assessments for her Diploma Qualification in 2014 and has been fully qualified from February 2015.
In 2015 Emma moved out of the Portacabin and into the Salon in Ballymacash where she currently employs 2 full time and 1 part time member of staff.
In 2020 Emma opened For Petz NI an Online Pet Store Specialising in Natural Products for pets where she offers Free Collections from Lisburn Dog Grooers, this is now her full time job and she is no longer grooming at the salon.

Emma Moulds - Director

Leah came to Lisburn Dog Groomers as a quiet young schoolgirl for work experience in 2013, it was here that Leah's potential was recognized by Emma through her willingness to work and her love for animals showed through her ability to handle and connect with the dogs on a daily basis.

Leah was offered a Part Time position after her work experience ceased which she kept throughout her remaining years in School whilst studying for her A Levels.

Leah was trained the basics of bathing blow drying and mini grooms, but Emma knew she was capable of much more and when she left school in 2016 , Emma trained Leah to Level 3 standard to complete full grooms and all aspects of Dog Grooming.

In 2017 Leah moved to Australia where she groomed for 6 months before she returned to Lisburn Dog Groomers in April 2018 taking up the Supervisor Role and assisting Emma with the new trainees and running of the business.
